UNDERGRADUATE STUDY ABROAD

To quote from Penn State's Education Abroad website,

"Education Abroad (EA) at Penn State currently offers over 160 programs abroad in 46 different countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, which are available to currently-enrolled Penn State undergraduate students. EA administers more than 70 of these programs, which are usually either specially designed semester length programs or reciprocal exchange programs.

"EA also offers programs through Penn  State Summer Education Abroad Programs (PSSEA); CIEE: Council on International Educational Exchange;  The Institute for the  International Education of Students (IES);  Arcadia University's Center for Education Abroad; and the Alliance for Expanded Studies in Overseas Programs (AESOP).  CIEE, IES and Arcadia are non-profit, educational organizations that develop and administer a variety of study abroad programs on behalf of their member institutions. AESOP is a study abroad consortium of 12 CIC (Big Ten) member institutions. Penn State Summer Education Abroad (PSSEA) programs are administered by Conferences and Institutes and are open for enrollment to both Penn State and non-Penn State students.

"Penn State students can enroll in EA, PSSEA, and Penn State-sponsored CIEE, IES, Arcadia, and AESOP programs through Education Abroad, remain registered at Penn State while abroad, and receive regular Penn State credit and grades for courses taken abroad."

For full details, and to search the EA database for particular programs, visit the Education Abroad website at http://www.international.psu.edu/EA/info_guides.htm.
